Who is responsible for your data
CREVNU is the data controller. Registered business name CREVNU, TIN 2620430538127, Shop 12, No. 31 Alexandria Crescent, Wuse 2, Wuse, Abuja, FCT. For any privacy request, or to reach our Data Protection Officer, email support@crevnu.app.
What we collect
Your name, email, phone, and the details you add to your profile. For verification, your ID document and a selfie. For payouts, your bank account details. We also record deal, message, and wallet activity needed to run the marketplace.
How we use it
To run your account, protect payments through escrow, verify identity, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.
Identity documents
Your ID document and selfie are stored privately and reviewed by CREVNU's own verification team here in Nigeria. We do not send them to any third-party or foreign face-matching service. They are used only to confirm your identity and keep the marketplace safe, and are never shown publicly.
Sharing
We share personal data only with the licensed Nigerian payment partners needed to move money, and where the law requires it. Identity verification is done in-house — your documents are not shared with any outside or foreign verification company. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data. To permanently delete your account and data, email support@crevnu.app from your account email; we process deletions within 30 days as required by the NDPA 2023.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. Identity and transaction records are kept for as long as Nigerian law requires — for anti-money-laundering and tax purposes this can be up to 5 years after your last activity — after which they are securely deleted or anonymised. When you ask us to delete your account we complete it within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain.
